YAMP (Yet Another Media Player)
Introduction:
YAMP is a media player which plays most common file formats.

YAMP features:
- Plays most common file formats like mpeg, xvid, divx,mp3 etc
- play from either local harddisk or stream from remote PC using Relax v0.5
- playlists (.m3u & create your own)
- subtitles (.srt) file format
- postprocessing, which improves picture quality a lot
- IR remote support
- jpeg viewer
- supports wide screen tv's
- supports progressive scan
- and the usual stuff you would expect from a player
How 2 get to the pie menu
while playing press the right thumbstick or IR menu 2 get the into the menu
In the pie menu you can use the right thumbstick, dpad or IR arrows
2 select your option. Press A/start IR select for executing your selected option
You can leave the pie menu with the back button or IR menu
How create a play list
When yamp's started and the splash screen disappears the file selection window will be shown
Here you can browse directories/files
use the left thumbstick (or IR up/down) to move the cursor up & down through the files/dirs.
2 add a file to the playselect, put the cursor on top of the file (or directory) and
press the Y button (IR title). You'll see that the file/directory is added 2 the playlist
You can switch between the playlist & filelist with the left/right triggers or with the IR left/right buttons
pressing the Y button (IR title) in the playlist will remove the file/directory from the playlist
2 start playing press the START button or IR play button
Drive selection
If you need 2 select another drive (like D:) then you press the B button (or IR menu)
A screen pops-up with all the drives. Note that relax (streaming support) can be found here
as well!!!!
just select the drive and press A, START or IR select, play and you'll get back
to the file selection menu showing all files on the drive you selected.
How 2 stream files using relax v0.5
Ok, first edit the yamp.xml file and change the ip-adres & port between <relax> & </relax>
example:

<server>192.168.1.175</server>
<port>1400</port>
</relax>
then startup yamp, after the splash screen the file selection screen is shown.
press the B button (or IR menu) and select the "relax:" drive
now you'll see all your remote files/dirs
How 2 setup the ip adres of your xbox
If you're using an older evox dashboard, then you may need 2 setup an ip adres for the xbox
The way 2 do this is simple, open the yamp.xml file and change the ipadres/gateway:

Open folder : Controller A / IR Select
select another drive : Controller B / IR menu
Previous folder : Controller back / IR Back
Add/remove file/folder 2 playlist : Controller Y / IR Title
Play selected item in FL / Play PL from start : Controller Start / IR Play

During playback:

Subs timing adjustment : Controller D-pad left/right / IR left/right
FFW : Controller Right Trigger / IR FFD
FRW : Controller Left Trigger / IR FRW
Toggle duration/filename etc. : Controller white / IR Info
Toggle stretch-mode : Controller black / IR display
