Among other things, Beta 2.1 greatly improves the 'Submit to web site' feature
so that it fills in all the information for you (game title, description, etc.)
making submitting to web sites easier than ever!

We are working closely with other web sites offering XBox game saves so that
the software can submit to those sites (and fill in all the info) as well.
Currently, the web sites which have been set up to handle this include
www.xbox-saves.com, and www.xEmulation.com. Work is under way over at
www.xbox-info.com to also allow this.
If you have a web site offering XBox game saves and would like to accept direct
uploads of game saves from the software, please contact us.

Be sure to check out our new and improved website while you're downloading,
and post a message in our forums to let us know what you think and what you'd
like to see!

| Usage |

+----------------------+

Its very easy to use, but we'll cover the basics here.

XBox-Saves Manager uses EvolutionX's wonderful ftp server to get at your

game saves. This of course means that you need to be running EvolutionX

before you can connect with XBSM.

The first thing you need to do is bring up the Options window from the Tools menu.

Then you should hit the network tab and tell XBSM what your XBox's IP, login and

password information is, so that you can connect. The rest of the options are

pretty straight forward, and you can play with them whenever you get a chance.

Once you've setup that information, hit OK and the Options window will close. You

can now hit the green Connect button on the toolbar and XBSM will connect to your

XBox and download the information it needs to create a list of all the saves on

it. You will then see whatever saves you have in the XBox pane.

If you want to send a save to your PC, simply select the save or saves you want

to send, and hit the arrow in the center of the window that points to the PC

pane. It will send the saves to your PC, compress and store them automatically

for you. Reverse this process to send saves from your PC to your XBox.

There is description data you can edit for every save on both your XBox and your

PC. Double-click a save to edit this info.

This just scratches the surface, there are a lot more features, but this help is

beta too, and isn't done yet. Play around with it and you should be able to

figure most everything out without any difficulty!

| Known Issues |

+----------------------+

Only 3 things here for right now

1) Madden 2003 Profiles and Settings can not be copied without the game

complaining about them being possibly corrupted. My Franchise data loaded

just fine, including custom rosters and a custom team, just an FYI. We could

use some help on this one, so if you have an idea whats causing it, let us

   know.

2) If you connect with XBSM to EvoX, and then start a game you can still try

to send a save game. This obviously won't work, and it generally makes

XBSM very unhappy. Try to avoid this. It doesn't like to be upset. We'll fix

this one soon. Really though, don't make it mad :)

3) XBSM currently relies on Microsoft's WInInet.dll for FTP connectivity and
Microsoft had bugs in their older versions of this DLL file. They fixed it and
it is distributed with products such as IE 5.5 (or higher), Windows XP, etc.
If you're having any connectivity problems between your PC and XBox and are using
an older version of IE and/or an older version of Windows, try updating to IE 5.5
   or higher.
