To use any of these patches, simply fire up ppf-o-matic and patch the bloodgulch
cache file.

Alright, there are 15 different patches all bundled together here, so I'm going
to try to keep them straight as I describe them. To make it easier, I have put
them in folders representing five different series of patches.

All of these patches give you tanks that hover and move about like ghosts,
complete with strafing and all. When you first get into the tank, it will not
hover on its own like the ghost does, but don't worry, there's nothing wrong
with it. Simply move forward or backward, and the tank will begin to hover (for
some reason, strafing does not have the same effect; it will work just fine, but
not until you've gotten the tank in the air by moving forward or backward).

Each patch (there are basically seven different ones), comes in two versions.
One version has tanks which move at their normal speed and have their normal
engine sound as they do so. The other has tanks which move quickly like the
ghosts and sound like the ghosts as well. They are all labeled fast or slow so
you will know which is which.

All patches also include homing missiles fired out of the rocket launcher, except
for "reign of fire with hovertanks." Homing missiles ARE included in "reign of
fire with hovertanks and flak." These missiles were actually built from needles,
in case you were wondering. The only reason they are not included in "reign of
fire with hovertanks" is that I wished to shoot ordinary needles out of the
assault rifle in that version, and of course there's no way to have two versions
of the needle in use at the same time.

Here are the descriptions of each series of patches:

bg hovertanks 01
This one is simple. The only changes are the inclusion of the hovertanks
and the homing missiles fired from the rocket launcher.

bg hovertanks 02
This series includes flying ghosts (no hover) and some weapons
modifications, which are listed below:
	ghost fires overcharge bolts
warthog chain gun and scorpion machine gun fire ghost bolts
	homing missiles

bg hovertank wars
As you could probably guess from the name, this changes all of the
vehicles to hovertanks. In addition to the two standart fast and slow tank
versions, I've thrown in another fast one in which the tank machine gun shoots
ghost bolts and the shell explosion is swapped for a plasma grenade explosion.
It's not a big deal, but some people might like it. This option is also
available in the "bg hovertanks 02" series.

reign of fire with hovertanks
I released a reign of fire series of patches just the other day, and
these are basically the same, but with the addition of the hovertanks and the
homing missiles (except that the homing missiles are only in the flak versions).
Basically, they're called "reign of fire" because the ghosts fly and shoot plasma
bolts which explode on impact with the plasma grenade explosion (it's really
sweet!). In the standard versions, the warthog chain gun and the scorpion
machine gun fire overcharge bolts. Further weapons modifications are listed
below:
	plasma rifle fires overcharge bolts
	assault rifle fires needles
	pistol bullets explode on impact
	rocket launcher fires tank shells
tank shells have twice the normal yield
If I remember correctly, the frag grenade is more powerful, and probably
	the sniper rifle, too.

The "reign of fire with hovertanks and flak" patches are pretty cool. While
technically an overcharge bolt, the projectile fired by the warthog chain gun
is invisible, and once it reaches the end of its range (or hits something), it
explodes just like a frag grenade. Fire it into the air when you have incoming
ghosts and it looks like flak! I was pretty excited to get this one working.
Just one thing, though: you can do what you like, but I would advise not holding
the trigger and firing off flak as fast as you can. The effect is not as
convincing that way, and with so many explosions going off at once, it works the
xbox pretty hard and slows down the frame-rate of the game. Other than the flak,
these patches are almost the same as their standard "reign of fire with
hovertanks" counterparts.

armageddon
Carnage abounds in this series. For starters, I've added or enhanced
scopes on all of the human weapons except the shotgun. Ghosts fly and fire
exploding plasma bolts like in "reign of fire," and most other weapons are made
more powerful as well. Here is a list of most, if not all, of the changes:
	assault rifle bullets more powerful
	frag grenades more powerful
tank shells have twice the normal yield
	sniper rifle fires tank shell
	all melees are instant kills
	homing missiles
Fired from the pistol, the plasma rifle, the tank machine gun and the
warthog chain gun is a newly redesigned overcharge bolt, which glows like
a needle, and explodes on impact with the needler explosion. These also
explode when they reach the end of their range, so you can fire them
into the air and get something like another version of flak, too.

In addition to the changes documented here, some weapons have been swapped for
other weapons in most of these patches. If you find that you're holding two of
the same weapon at some point, and that ammo picked up for it only goes into one
of them, this is why. Most of you have probably already encountered this same
side effect with other patches or your own edits; it's no big deal, but I thought
I'd document it.

For any of these scenarious using flying ghosts, you might want to turn on the
"fall guy" cheat if you have a trainer, because I have noticed that if you're
flying really high and you let off the throttle (the fastest way to descend), the
fall can kill you, even though you are in a vehicle.

Well, that's it. I've obviously included plenty of slightly different versions
of these, so I hope everyone finds something they like. Special thanks goes out
to the guys who put together the "when pigs fly" website showing how to make
vehicles fly, and whoever it was who released a basic tutorial on adding and
modifying scopes.

Also, if anyone knows how to change the speed of a projectile, its range, or the
rate of fire of a weapon, please let me know how. You can email me at
"thegreenmatrix@hotmial.com" with any suggestions. Thanks.

Feedback is always welcome; if you have some you may leave it at xbox-saves
where you downloaded this, or email me at "thegreenmatrix@hotmail.com"

All of these mods were first implemented and tested on the X-Chair. To see it,
visit the website at "www.geocities.com/thegreenmatrix/xchair.html" I may be
moving this site soon, as I am unpleased with the quality of service Yahoo! gives
to its geocities members, so check it out before it moves!
